And no we are not talking about man taking on the fruit but instead a frustrated Brit taken on a rather small organisation called Apple.

But how the devil did he will against the richest company in the world. Well Gareth Cross had just 10 days of joy with his Apple Watch before a hairline crack appeared in the impact resistant glass.

Unhappy with the crack, he approached Apple who told Mr Clark that it wouldn’t be covered by the warranty and therefore nothing good be done. Not standing for this, he took it to a small claims court who found in favour that Apple did breach the Sales of Goods Act.

This wasn’t a quick win though, the case took a total of six months to conclude, and the result certainly didn’t add a few extra zeros to Mr Clarks bank account funds. Instead, an award of £339 – the cost of the watch originally – plus court fees.

Although this does set a tone not to be bullied by the giant corporations of the world, don’t be expecting any large sums of cash for the inconvince and stress of going to court.
