The LG G5 was launched in Barcelona at the Mobile World Congress, and is now set for a worldwide launch on the 31st March.
This will be the first modular phone from the big manufactures to be brought to market and is tipped to come with a range of add ons from launch including a digital camera and audio player. However EE are touting business by offering a media pack for pre ordering customers in the UK worth £400 – read more about that below.
The LG G5 comes with an impressive range of features, including the 16MP camera’s extra-wide 135o lens, letting you capture stunning wide-angle photos. It also features an all-new metal unibody design with a 5.3 inch screen, which unlike the Samsung S7 will not be prone to smashes on the back even though both have Gorilla Glass 4.
So is your handset due an upgrade and your weren’t tempted by the Samsung S7? Well EE and Virgin Media have so far confirmed pre-order offers in the UK, with EE offering an audio set from B&O, the B&O H3 in-ear headphones and a B&O PLAY S3 speaker to tempt you to join. The deal is also rather impressive too starting at £29.99 with an upfront cost of £99.99 for the handset. The Mobile 123 favourite plan at £39.99 a month, as you get 10GB of double speed data which can also be used for personal hotspot, unlimited calls and unlimited text with £29.99 upfront.
I hope to get a hands on this device ahead of launch to give you a full run down of the device, which you can find under the Reviews section.
