So this handset has been going for over a year but still sells in the bucket loads. Â Could it be the cracking camera, the water resistant casing, the various health features including heart rate? Possibly, but one thing is for sure is that the Samsung Galaxy S5 packs premium features at a fraction of the high end price tag.

So next up is one of Samsung’s current flagship, and boy did it break the Samsung mould.  This was Samsung’s first flagship handset that featured glass and metal as a body unlike the previous plastic variations.  Although it wasn’t the first to feature this in the Samsung range (this came from the now ageing Galaxy Alpha) it certainly made the Samsung line up look incredibly good looking….Zoolander would have approved.

What a handset! Sony may not have changed the design by any extreme, but with the addition of the fingerprint scanner to what is a tried and tested design has shown that Sony isn’t afraid to stick with what it knows works. Â The latest flagship also saw a long overdue upgrade to the camera sensor with the ability to capture beautiful 23MP shots – and with the 5x digital zoom, you loose no quality once it down scales it to 8MP.
